Applications
Equity Action is seeking applications for grants to organizations that support lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered and queer (LGBTQ) individuals in Rhode Island. To apply for a grant, please follow and complete the steps below and download the PDF(s).

of three grant types
Once you have chosen the grant that best fits your organization,
simply download and complete the application.*
Small Grants [requests up to
$2,500]
For short-term projects or one-time activities
Deadline: applications are reviewed
on a rolling basis.
Project Grants [requests from
$2,500 to $15,000]
For meeting the community’s priority needs
Deadline: applications are reviewed
biannually and are due either April 15 or October
15.
Capacity-Building
Grants [requests from $2,500 to $15,000]
For building the capacity of organizations
Deadline: applications are reviewed
biannually and are due either April 15 or October
15.

in making grant decisions.

* Note: All applicants must complete the Priorities and Demographics Form (please print, complete, and mail with application) and are strongly encouraged to review the Key Criteria document.
Final Report Form
(grant recipients only)
As a grant recipient of Equity Action, you are required to complete a final report. In fact, your organization cannot receive subsequent funding from Equity Action until the report is submitted.
